Distress Watercoloring - Part 2

Hello and welcome! I'm back, after a short blog break, with a project for the Compendium of Curiosities 3 Challenge series. Our hostess for this crafty journey is the lovely Linda Ledbetter, check out her blog for all the details. Challenge #20 is sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique, one of my favorite online stores, with a $25 shopping spree for one lucky entry.

The technique for this challenge is Distress Watercoloring - Part 2, see page 40 of Tim's latest book for the instructions. I used the cupcake image from the Birthday Blueprint Stamp Set for my watercolored piece and then adhered it to some patterned paper. Next I added a few embellishments. I wanted to include a photo from one of the Found Relatives packs so I cut out a girl from a birthday party photo and adhered it to a piece of Film Strip Ribbon. Finally I attached everything to a kraft top fold card. Thanks for stopping by!
