#CC3C - Painted Industrial

It's time for another Compendium of Curiosities 3 challenge! Check out the lovely Linda Ledbetter's blog for all the details and to see what the Curiosity Crew created. Inspiration Emporium is sponsoring Challenge #7 with a $50 gift certificate!

The painted industrial technique is on page 46 of Tim's book. For this technique and the focal point of my project I used one of my newest dies, the Layered Dragonfly. Next I decided to die cut and emboss a second dragonfly from modeling film. I colored this one with a variety of archival ink and heated it. To finish the look I adhered it to the top of my foil dragonfly and I gotta say I love the effect. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Deb...this is gorgeous! I just got my layered dragonfly and I can't wait to play with it. Yours is AMAZING! Love it and love your background behind him. And....using a cabinet card as a base for this beautiful piece...that is so clever! I love that idea! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
