#CC3C - Layering Stencil: Texture Paste Technique

For Challenge #4, see Linda Ledbetter's blog for all the details, I knew that I wanted to use a new stamp set that I got recently called Nautical Blueprint. I purchased it from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, they are sponsoring this challenge with a $25 gift certificate. This was my second order from Linda Coughlin, the owner, great prices and awesome customer service.

So on to my project for this challenge. I did a search on the internet for pictures of starfish and found a really cool looking one. I stamped the image from the Nautical Blueprint set onto Distress Watercolor Cardstock and then cut it out. Next I placed my Crocodile Layering Stencil on the image and used Tim's technique on page 49 of his book. I love how the starfish turned out! To showcase it I put it on a Mini Burlap Panel that I covered with Tissue Wrap and Distress Paint. Thanks for stopping by!
